Watercolours and Drawings

This section of the website has examples of some of my earlier drawings and watercolour paintings, including those done whilst I was being more experimental with techniques (see also About My Pictures). There are also some of the preliminary studies for larger pictures in both watercolour and pencil which were made during the sabbatical, and there is more information about these in Sabbatical Notes.

Some of the pictures in this section are for sale and there are also a limited number of prints available of the Living Stone picture and the four Durham landscapes: Durham Cathedral at Night, Prebends Bridge, St Oswald’s Banks and Old Elvet Bridge.
